ITQuoter was founded by Richard Beresford in Australia in 1998, with a vision to help companies in the emerging managedservjces provider (MSP) industry reduce the time it took to prepare quotes and proposals for IT consultants’ clients.
The earliest version of what became ITQuoter was a simple A4-sized document with tick boxes and a place for the total price. Customer details were downloaded via CDRom.
As more and more IT professionals came to discover how ITQuoter made quoting and sales proposals easy and streamlined, customers started making suggestions on how the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) product could be further improved.
So began the legacy of building customer-driven CPQ software that tech professionals actually want to use (because they and their peers helped to spur the development of the CPQ tools that met their requirements). At ITQuoter, we’ve been working collaboratively with our customers for more than 20 years, listening carefully to their needs and developing trusted quoting software that simplifies MSP and VAR proposals and sales, and helps improve productivity and profitability.
It’s proven to be a successful formula.
